Our Managing Partner
JP Valdes | MANAGING PARTNER
Juan P. (JP) Valdes is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Selecta Homes, a real estate investment firm he launched in 2015 following a successful corporate career. Initially focused on luxury home development, Selecta Homes has grown into a diversified portfolio spanning multiple GP and LP positions across the U.S. and Colombia, including multifamily communities, single-family rentals, retail and office assets, RV parks, and a hospitality venture.
Prior to founding Selecta, JP spent over two decades in global executive roles leading Marketing and product strategy for Fortune 500 and FinTech companies, where he managed more than $1.5 billion in revenue.
He holds an MBA from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and a B.S. in Administration from Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá. Based in Aventura, Florida with his wife and son, JP fuels his curiosity through motorcycle cruising, off-road ATV adventures, and international travel.
